Set in 270 acres of wonderful Saddleworth countryside this fabulous Five Star accredited Bed & Breakfast and Holiday Cottage in a renovated barn conversion is the ideal location for a short stopover or longer holiday. Adjacent to the farmhouse and set in a peaceful location with wonderful views of the Saddleworth countryside yet only 3.5 miles from the M62 motorway network. Clough Manor

Clough Manor is situated on the edge of the picturesque Saddleworth village of Denshaw. The Hotel was originally an 18th century farmhouse. It has been added to over the years to provide a function suite, restaurant, lounge bar, private dining room and 25 double/twin en suite bedrooms. There are glorious, panoramic views from the front of the hotel. The Hotel’s Saddleworth location is rural but close to motorway and tram links, makes it the ideal venue for weddings, functions, meetings, meals out and ‘get away from it all’ weekend breaks. Diggle House Farm

Located within striking distance of the Yorkshire Dales, West Yorkshire and Derbyshire, the farm is also only 45 minutes away from the bustling metropolis of Manchester and Leeds. With excellent "green" technology, this is a great opportunity to stay in traditional accommodation on a working farm, (and Riding School), but also enjoy the home comforts of underfloor heating, solar electricity, rainwater harvesting and hot water supplied from pipes laid within the ground. Outside are dedicated patios and gardens in which you can sit and relax, enjoying breathtaking views of the Saddleworth valley and moorland. There is ample allocated parking. Locally there are many festivals and traditions, such as the famous Whit Friday Band Contests and Rush Cart celebrations and the area is rich with walking and cycling routes. There are many amenities for children with parks and adventure playgrounds within the village, and local shops, Post Office and pubs are approximately one mile away from the farm. The Grains Bar Hotel is approximately 333 years old and set in nine acres of farm land on the outskirts of Greater Manchester with fine views of Saddleworth and the Oldham hills. We are close to Delph village, Uppermill, Dobcross, Diggle and Greenfield, where Saddleworth tourist events attract thousands of visitors each year. Saddleworth Hotel

Sunfield Diggle

We are within 30 minutes from Manchester and 10 minutes from the M62 motorway. Sunfield is situated in Diglea which is an old weaving hamlet that lies at the end of the Standedge canal tunnel. The Standedge canal tunnel is the longest and highest canal tunnel in the country. Diglea is reputed to be the first settlement in Saddleworth. Grazing facilities are available for horse riders wishing to travel the old pack horse trails or explore the scenery and heritage of the Pennines. The Pennines Bridleway is a short distance away. The area is very popular with families coming at lambing time and bottle feeding the lambs, or autumn when the calves are born. Wellcroft House

Wellcroft House is a grade 2 listed traditional weaver's cottage, dated 1768, featuring original beams, stonework and mullioned windows. Spectacular views of the Castleshaw Valley and Saddleworth surround the property. Saddleworth is renowned for it's rugged stunning landscapes, but in the valleys you can enjoy strolls around the picturesque villages of Delph, Diggle and Dobcross. In Uppermill you can relax on a canal barge or savour the delights of the many cafes and traditional shops. We have a private guest lounge with a pool table and board games.
